Hey guys,

We will be meeting to do coolers like we did last week. The call time will be 10:30 (marching and non-marching brothers alike). I assume since it is alumni band practice won't run that long but if it does we'll wait and head down together. Let me know of any questions/concerns.

Flute Ensemble Concert

The University of Florida Flute Ensemble will be performing at their semester concert in MUB 120 (Choir Room).

I'll be performing most of these pieces as the bass flute. And Liz Raasch will be performing most of these pieces as an alto flute.

Symphonic Band Concert

"Have You Heard ... ?" - Symphonic Band Concert

The Symphonic Band is performing 7 pieces with an intermission, so it's likely to be a length concert.

That being said, any brothers who are attending the concert are NEEDED to help clear the stage after the show concludes. Those brothers who were not planning on going to the concert and don't have anything to do should go see the show.

At the previous concert, no brothers were present to clear the stage, leaving unhappy sisters and UA personal. Let's not have that happen again.

Jazz Band Concert

The jazz bands will be performing Thursday night December 3rd st 7:30. We have a new director with new music that's different from what we usually do (if that makes sense to anyone). Come out and enjoy some great jazz!

Playing at the VA

Hey guys,

During chapter a while ago I mentioned that the sisters and I were getting a group together to play at the VA. It is going to be next Wednesday, the 11th, which is Veteran's Day. We will being meeting at 1 and playing from 1:30-2. We do not need the whole chapter however the sisters are mostly woodwinds so a few brass players would be nice. Post here if you would like to go.

Lunch with Kappa Tau

Kappa Tau is bringing their candidates up for their semesterly paddle supply trip this upcoming Saturday and they would like to join us for lunch. I'm thinking starting around 12:30-1 PM should give enough time to recover from morning rehearsal and to make it back for call time. Post restaurant suggestions here! I'll keep the tally updated as much as possible.

Sorry to post this so late. We will meet at the MUB at 8:15AM tomorrow to do coolers for the game. It's been a couple of weeks so come out and help. The last home game there weren't many people so come out if you can. Its early so you have the rest of the day to do whatever.

Helmet-Awareness Concert
